Turn What You Already Know Into Music You Can Actually Play.

Your "Aha!" Moment Is One Zoom Call Away

In the Third Century BC, The Greek Philosopher Aristotle Stated:
“For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.”

Since 1966 AD, Robert Conti, The American Jazz Guitar Virtuoso & Educator Has Preached:
"You Will Only Learn To Play Jazz Guitar, By Playing Jazz Guitar."

I was very nervous about playing in front of Robert but he put me at my ease very quickly. Although I had set up as instructed by Mike ahead of the lesson, there were some sound issues and Robert had some difficulty hearing me. Also I was getting an echo of my own voice and my guitar which was disco...

Mr. Conti teaches like you are in the green room of a jazz club in 1960. He cuts right to the chase. No bullshit. I now see brilliant II V I licks right under my fingers. Upper structure chords that give you that "playing outside" sound. Three lessons have completely redirected my playing to sound l...

Robert is an entertaining and competent instructor with a wide range of past real-playing experience of the bandstand. The First Lesson was interesting, I came to know a lot of stuff from Robert which I never knew before and he made sure that I had all my material for practicing. Robert also made music theory so easy that I was able to understand how it works and was able to play it easily on my guitar. I can't wait...

The world is filled with talented players who may not excel as teachers, and there are excellent teachers who may not be extraordinary players. However, we are fortunate to have Mr. Robert Conti, who is both an amazing player and a fantastic teacher. I recently had my first Zoom class with Mr. Cont...

What I learned in my first lesson with Robert is that he is as energetic and friendly as he is in his DVDs. I’ve watched hours of the DVDs and it was a privilege to be able to personally converse, for two hours. Within the first 15 minutes, Robert watched me play and asked a few questions, and then ...

I thought it was about time to update my review of Robert and his teaching. All I can say is that it really works. However, one needs to put the time in to practice and getting comfortable with the neck. This is not a Vulcan mind-meld exercise. Robert can expertly guide you to success. Because ...

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to do a 2-hour online lesson with Robert Conti. Robert’s approach to teaching jazz guitar is to get you playing and that’s exactly what we did in our lesson. Just like his books and DVDs, there is a lot of information packed into a very small space. This can b...

I just wanted to give a shout out to Robert Conti. I started taking lessons with Robert about 2 years ago and picked up a few tricks. I decided to get serious back in February and made a weekly appointment for a 2 hour lesson. It is the best musical investment that I have ever made. The progress has...

My first lesson with Robert Conti was playing right out of the chute. He asked me to play a couple of things to quickly evaluate my technique, and then we started playing jazz. Robert emailed a chart and a handout with 12 tasty licks that can be used forever in your repertoire. We worked on the fi...

When I think of Mr. Conti, the first word that comes in mind is: GENEROSITY! He never watches the time, and never makes you feel time is running, and you never can feel he’s boring himself and just gives you private lesson to earn money. To the contrary, he takes with you all the time you need (for ...
