Best guitar ever. Better than boutique guitars at higher prices!

Attentive, goes beyond standard customer service and communication. Excellent!
Too many people have told me too many good (-make that GREAT) things about this DVD—gotta get it. Conti is blindingly fast, yes, but MUSICALLY so, lyrically so. And it inspires me that he’s an, um, big guy as am I. Speed ain’t just for the twitchy little guys! ;o) If you’ve never heard Conti play, check him out on Youtube–you will be amazed. The Precision Technique DVD is my daily bread. I’m 54 and I started playing guitar in elementary school, had beginner lessons and later on jazz lessons, and I’ve got two cardboard boxes full of guitar books and all that together did LESS for my playing than a couple weeks with The Precision Technique! I switched to the .38 Dunlops and love them. I’ve been refining my pick grip day by day and the improvement in my playing is remarkable. I’m thrilled, though I can’t help wishing I’d ‘seen the light’ about 30 years ago! But hey, better late than never! Thank you so much from a very satisfied and future customer.

Thank you for an amazing course that, before I learned about this wonderful course, was like groping in the dark, and now everything is shining and starting to become clear.

These are excellent, playable and great sounding arrangements; this is where players can learn music, make music, and get some wonderful ideas about how to develop their own arrangements.

I have still yet to find a better way to document a Chord Melody arrangement than Conti's Chord Grid approach.

Thank you for your honest and genuine lessons. Today I got to know you and I'm glad that the gates to the guitar are starting to open for me thanks to you.

Slowly trying to get Mr. Conti’s lines under my fingers! Not the easiest thing to do but with a lot of practice it’s possible. These lessons are golden!

Great choice of songs. Arrangements very accessible and allow for easy personalization. Clever use of half steps. Thanks.

I was very nervous about playing in front of Robert but he put me at my ease very quickly. Although I had set up as instructed by Mike ahead of the lesson, there were some sound issues and Robert had some difficulty hearing me. Also I was getting an echo of my own voice and my guitar which was disconcerting. However those issues appear to have been at my end so no fault of Robert or his technical team. While I was playing, Robert very quickly spotted that I was not sticking strictly to the fingering protocol having slipped into the bad habit of not using my pinky. He advised me to rectify this and explained his reasoning. We then moved onto my question which had been how learning Robert’s solos would enhance my ability to improvise. Robert clearly and efficiently demonstrated how a simple 4 note riff could be used over different chords and why they worked. The lesson far exceeded the allotted time and throughout Robert was patient when I made mistakes and offered so much advice from his own 60 years of experience. He is a great guitarist and also a wonderful teacher whose enthusiasm is infectious and I found the lesson to be an inspiration to me. Robert squeezed more into an hour than I learned in the last 5 years. I am extremely grateful to Robert for his time and for making the lesson so rewarding and enjoyable. I now can’t wait to get stuck into Ticket to Improv Vol 2.

BEEN BUYING CONTI STRINGS SINCE 2013. THEY SOUND GREAT, EASY TO PLAY, AND THEY LAST. DESPITE SEVERAL ISSUES WITH MY HANDS, THESE STRINGS HELP ME PRACTICE LONGER AND SOUND BETTER.

I copy this solution from a Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion II which I have. The benefits of the Golden Fingers are as follows: 1. Stable tuning. 2. No feedback. 3. No in-between strings interference. 4. Better look and the fact that no one have this tailpiece.

I’m loving your approach to chord melody. I’m at a point where I’m recommitting myself to learning guitar at a higher level. Thank you!

Buongiorno il maestro Robert Conti mi ha cambiato il modo di suonare mi piace come insegna io ho tutti i suoi video credo che suonerò sempre il suo stile lo ringrazio moltissimo.Grazie per la vostra attenzione.

Excellent tutorial I can understand, what Robert is saying. Lots of work to do,and enjoying the challenge, Robert is by far the best for me.thanks so much.Michael

G'day, a privilege to have this guitar and this beautiful tailpiece.

Just wanted to send you a note to say thanks....that was some of the best f**king customer service I have ever received and I want to make sure you get credit for it. You resolved my problem super quickly and with a minimum of hassle, which is something that is unfortunately, all too rare these days! I'll be sure to spread the word about you guys...be sure to tell your Boss what a great job you did. If you tell me where to send it, I'd be happy to write a letter myself.
I’m an advanced player. I’ve been playing and performing for well over 40 years. I’m always looking for new learning material. This is a great way for me to learn new ideas. I’d love to play with him, some day!

Very helpful for improve

I've been playing for a long time and have a decent knowledge of harmony, but jazz improv always seemed like something unachievable. Until (almost by accident) I found Mr. Conti's lessons. He truly reveals the secrets of the greats. An awesome educator with a unique approach.

If have been a student of Robert’s for several years and went hard with weekly lessons in early 2020. I was dabbling for awhile and just decided that I needed to up my game. I sat down with him on a Zoom lesson weekly for 18 months and left my ego at the door and let him mold me into a serious player who could improvise on the fly.
I now host a monthly guitar night at Maxan’s Jazz in Las Vegas and I should have a sign up behind me that says “Chops By Conti”
Do yourself a favor…you may not to hit is as hard as I did but getting real time coaching is valuable and these hardcore guys that learned the old fashioned way to play jazz are becoming more and more scarce.
Best investment in my guitar playing that I have ever made…
How is this, many of the Greatest Guitarist like yourself have Big Hands, fingers, Segovia for one! I love Jazz Guitar, Johnny Smith was a friend of my father, he taught and worked with Johnny at his music store.... Many good memories...attempting to duplicate his sound and approach has proven to drive me practically insane... No matter I still like the standards, but Johnny's magic arpeggios, and ringers will never be touched. all of us are truly missing Johnny* I've recently turned to YouTube to reflect and learn more about this instrument called the Guitar, for it has intrigued many....Thank You for keeping that Jazz Flame shining Bright* and keep up the exceptional good work...

More people know that I'm a jazz nerd. Get to know that for almost 15 years I've had a fantastic guitarist as a teacher and mentor: Robert Conti . Have been so fortunate to get/get guitar lessons and professional pedagogical guidance via FaceTime/Zoom for several years. Genius in my world, and incredible educator and guitarist who has published over 40 textbooks, with videos, exercise and theory - Here's a video he recorded 2 years before I was born. It has to be mentioned that at 14 years old Robert Conti had Pat Martino as a mentor, when Pat was 16 years old. Both of them worked as musicians.
